With the great history, Ghana is a friendly country where tourists get the real contentment of their trips. Though some of the tourists’ sites are not managed well but still the number of tourists, visiting Ghana, is increasing year by year. Accra
Accra, the capital city of Ghana, is the economic and administrative hub of the country. It has an international airport called Kotoka International Airport that welcomes thousands of flights to Accra every year. The city has a lot to offer including, National Museum, Independence Square, Labadi beach, Jamestown and many more. To travel within the city you can use taxi, rental car or SUV etc. Shopping in Accra is worth to be experienced as its Makola Market has so much to offer. However, If you don’t like traditional handicrafts then Accra Mal, A&C shopping Mall and Palace Shopping Malls offer something modernized which compete to western and European world.

Kumasi
Kumasi, the home of Ashanti king, is widely known as the cultural cradle of Ghana as the culture of Ghana is thoroughly practiced here. The roots of Kumasi meet with the King Osei Tutu 1. With the guidance of priest Okomfo Anokye, King 1 established Kumasi. It is commonly considered that two Kuma trees were planted at two different places in which one died and the other flourished. The place, where the Kuma tree was flourished, was named as Kumasi that means “Kums tree has flourished.”
Flights from Accra to Kumasi are scheduled daily in the morning and afternoon. It’s the easiest way to reach to Kumasi and takes almost 45 minutes to reach. Once you entered in the city you would have plenty of options to be visited including Asantehene’s Palace, Manhyia Palace Museum, Kumasi Zoo, Ghana Armed Forces Museum and many more.

Tamale
Tamale is the capital city of Northern Ghana and is the main gateway of Mole National Park, the largest national park of Ghana. A public bus service runs from Accra or Kumasi to Tamale, which is the cheapest and easiest way to reach Tamale. Bus leaves Accra at 8 am and reaches there within 11 hours. Though Tamale has a small list of natural sites but shopping is good activity there. Market on Main Street offers textiles, cobblers and variety of cuisines whereas Cultural Center offers cheap jewelry, goatskin, ornaments and many other households.
